Given the recent news from Washington State, and the previous news from Georgia, and the historically high unpopularity of both presidential candidates, it seems as if this really could be the year of the faithless elector--at least at levels we haven't seen before, and potentially litigation over the issue that pushes the legal and constitutional issues beyond Ray v.
