Because of the Adam Walsh Child Protection and Safety Act, state prosecutors cannot release materials to criminal defendants if it constitutes child pornography.But this law doesn't prevent the district attorney from releasing the tape to legislators, reporters and anyone else who asks, which is exactly what happened in Wilson's case.Wilson never had a fair trial.
