A few observations about this month’s stats: (1)    For the fourth straight month, the Supreme Court has seen double digits in the number of cert applications considered by the Hawaii Supreme Court, and October saw the highest number of applications considered in a single month so far this year at 16;  (2)    The Hawaii Supreme Court also granted the highest number of cert applications in a single month at 6 – but 5 of those were in criminal… [read post]
