., in Oracle America, Inc. v Google Inc. 750 F.3d. 1339 (CAFC May 9, 2014), the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that 7,000 lines of declaring code and the overall structure, sequence, and organization of Oracle’s 37 Java API packages that Google had copied when developing its Android operating system were protected by copyright.
