The House voted 103-0 today to approve the bill by Representative Jamie Ison of Mobile to expand the current law to include colleges anduniversities.The bill now goes to the Senate for debate.Ison said she hopes the bill will help protect young women attending college.Representative Thomas Jackson of Thomasville voted for the bill.But he expressed concern that the Legislature keeps passing laws restricting where convicted sex offenders can live or work.
