The proposed Permanent Rule D of the Community Association Manager Licensing Rules provides that if a manager wishes to have a deductible larger than the $5000 prescribed by Rule D-9(2)(e) it may do so by requesting permission from the Director of the Colorado Division of Real Estate and depositing the amount greater than $5000 in an insured savings account or CD issued by a state or national bank, credit union or savings and loan association doing business in Colorado.
