As I read the Washington Post article, the White House response said nothing about whether the U.S. practices cruel, inhuman, and degrading treatment, which is also a violation of federal law and international law.If pressed, I assume the White House would also deny that the CIA's practices violate the prohibition against cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment.
