Either you do all that counting and sorting and come up with a pompously inflated version of what you had at the beginning,  or you do all that counting and sorting and then attach to the resulting data an interpretation it does not generate; to be sure,   the interpretation may be one the data can be made to support,  but only because the data , just sitting there in all its empty bulk, can be made to support anything.
