The truth is, most students already know that their bookstore prices are usually higher than commercial outlets such as Amazon or Barnes & Noble.The problem I found while I attended school, is that the book is usually so highly specialized that commercial outlets don't carry it, or the professor required the 3rd edition (published 1 or 2 years after the 2nd without significant changes).
