Sarich et. al., rendered last week, the Washington Supreme Court overruled the trial court and decided, based upon the plain wording of the relevant statutory provision (RCW, 61.24.100(1)), that the foreclosure of a senior deed of trust does not extinguish the debt/obligation of any junior lienholder or otherwise preclude an action to recover that debt.
