I'm no criminal mastermind, but when your house mysteriously burns down and you feel like engaging in insurance fraud by faking the value of the property inside the home, I'm pretty sure that you shouldn't tell the insurance company that one of the things burned in the fire was a painting (1) that you never owned, (2) that's been hanging in the New York Museum of Modern Art for 50+ years, and (3) that's amongst the most recognizable paintings in the entire world.Not too… [read post]
