I can only hope that EU policy makers are going to realize now that no matter whether one might want to put a thumb on the scales of SEP licensing and enforcement for one side or the other, the proposal that is currently on the table cannot possibly serve as the basis for a co-legislative process that is not equipped to fundamentally restructure an ill-conceived proposal.
