While the Wired Blog has a rather snarky editorial pillorying the Pirate Bay guys as "backpedaling" on the stand from their loud and proud anti-copyright statements outside of intimidating prosecutorial face-offs ("all hat and no rum," reads the editorial title), Cnet ran a report here of Sunde holding a press conference holding up a joke IOU for 31 million Swedish kroner, and then stating that he would rather burn everything he owns than pay up.
