Large corporations have to file 8-Ks disclosling significant events or changes that impact their businesses – why shouldn’t Congress have to post summaries of bills (written in plain english) at least 5 – 7 days prior to when a vote is taken to allow people to understand what is contained in the legislation and allow them to make informed decisions about whether or not to support the legislation.
