But for what it is worth (and so that readers may know my own perspective, to account for possible bias): I, like Jack, disagree with some of the analysis in the August 2002 so-called "torture" memo, but I agree with the core of its legal conclusions -- as, ironically, Jack Goldsmith does, and did at the time he headed OLC, according to his book.
