 You may remember I have remarked on the discrepancy between the amount of money allegedly given by Dickie Scruggs to Balducci for the supposed purpose of bribing Judge Lackey, and the amount Balducci actually allegedly took to Lackey -- a total of $50,000 was allegedly paid by Scruggs, but only $40,000 allegedly delivered.The logical inference from these allegations is not that Balducci pocketed the money, but rather that at some point… [read post]
