 I might think that I've just gotten the student abnormally worked up, and that he'll eventually calm down, and that I can defuse the situation.But if the guy is instead a guy with incredibly strongly held political beliefs (on either side, I might add), and if it's a guy who's known throughout the campus someone who seems to feel these beliefs so deeply that he regularly "goes off the deep end" -- i.e., behaves aggressively and/or outside of the normal… [read post]
