It seems to me that international law 'forces us' to think like a bourgeois state, insofar as people making legal argument have to accede to 'reasonable' demands such a state might make, like - 'well of course we have a right to defend ourselves' or 'well of course we are allowed to interrogate people' etc. [read post]
