The ‘Report of the Committee on Super-injunctions’, by Lord Neuberger and others, published in May, found that since the John Terry case in January 2010, only two super-injunctions have been granted to protect private information – one was set aside on appeal and the other was only for 7 days and for ‘anti-tipping-off’ reasons.
