At the Practising Law Institute’s “SEC Speaks” series last Friday, SEC Chairman Christopher Cox delivered a speech recapping his first 80 weeks on the job, likening himself to Phileas Fogg in “Around the World in 80 Days.” Nothing startlingly new in it, but it does make you realize how much has happened since he took the helm - which seems like only a couple of months ago.
