Intriguingly, the script was written by West Wing creator Aaron Sorkin, who knows a thing or two about storytelling, and it was odd to see David Fincher directing it, given prior works like Se7ev, Fight Club, and The Game, but I just assumed everybody, including Sorkin and Fincher, has a mortgage to pay.
