If Harley Davidson is not doing everything its power to make its motorcycles as safe as possible, then this is just like the story I heard in law school of how Ford Motor Company knew full well that the Pinto was dangerous and defective, but decided that defending wrongful death products liability lawsuits was cheaper than fixing the design.
