Hooks, No. 01-09-00328-CV, the Houston First District Court of Appeals reversed a verdict and judgment against Samson for $21 million, holding that the claim was barred by the four-year statute of limitations as a matter of law -- even though the jury had found that the Hooks should not have discovered Samson's fraudulent conduct until April 2007, less than four years prior to their suit.
