Indeed, for most of the relevant economic statistics that have not (yet) turned south, one commentator noted that it is impossible to see (if one covers up the years on the horizontal axis) where Obama’s presidency ended and where Trump’s began.Now, even though Obama was a much better President than Trump or any of their recent predecessors, his economic record (which Trump is at most merely extending, as noted above) was not great.
