In 2007, brewer Zhejiang Lanye won a YUAN3m (£319,000) judgment against Pepsi over the latter’s use of the phrase “blue storm” in a marketing campaign.In the most closely-watched case, France’s Schneider Electric was ordered in September 2007 to pay a whopping YUAN334.8m (£35.5m) for violating Wenzhou-based CHINT Group’s circuit breaker patent.
