Mandatory 30-day period (some registries expand it to 60 days) that all new top level domains are required to provide to owners of trademarks, whereby any owner of a mark which is recorded in the TMCH may pay a special fee to the registry to register a domain matching their mark before they are opened for general sale.Why 30 days?
