According to the complaint (.pdf), the coders created books and records to hide the scope and nature of the business; changed the names of account holders to support fraudulent activity; and altered details about share and equities transactions, including creating fictitious times for the transactions and generating fraudulent documents to make it appear that the investment firm was buying and selling securities on the London Stock Exchange.
