True, this "is changing because law professors increasingly identify with other academics,"but "many law professors continue, particularly in the legal treatises and textbooks they write, to publish without acknowledgement material drafted by their student research assistants" (p. 23).What Posner quite obviously is saying by his discussion of law professors is that the legal academy has generally placed a low value on originality.
