  Of note to me personally, Judge Gilstrap served sixteen years on the Courthouse Preservation Council here in Marshall, taking over the duties of chair when Franklin Jones passed away recently, and helped both in his capacity as county judge and later as chair, to accomplish the successful renovation of the historic 1901 courthouse in Marshall that we are all so proud of.
