*Updated May 22, 2012: Per the latest count of May 18, 2012, USCIS has received 42,000 (annual cap of 65,000) H-1B Regular Cap subject petitions and 16,000 (annual cap of 20,000) H-1B Master’s Degree Cap Exempt petitions Per the latest information from USCIS; as of April 20, 2012, the service has received a total of 25,000 H-1B Regular Cap applications towards the total 65,000 available for the fiscal year.
