If you're an insurance company who's just been spanked at trial for $10 million in punitive damages, as well an additional half a million dollars in the other side's attorney's fees, because you (allegedly) illegally denied plaintiff's disability insurance claim, it's gotta bring at least a slight smile to your face to find out that your panel in the Ninth Circuit consists of Judges Hall, O'Scannlain, and Ikuta.Punitive damage and fee award reversed.
