  The Rosoff article would require doctors to learn the FDA regulatory status of hundreds of drugs and medical devices and then, on threat of being sued, doctors would have to describe standard of care medical treatments (which many off-label uses are) as “unapproved” so patients will be scared away from such treatments.At least the Rosoff article recognizes that there are various types of off-label use.
