I'm not sure I've ever seen an instance where a police officer was held criminally liable as a result of injuries sustained while speeding on the way to a call, but a jury yesterday handed down a 15-year sentence to former San Antonio PD officer David Seaton for killing a fellow officer in an accident under exactly those circumstances.
