An op-ed in the NYT argues for higher salaries for teachers: McKinsey polled 900 top-tier American college students and found that 68 percent would consider teaching if salaries started at $65,000 and rose to a minimum of $150,000. [read post]

OK, I'm just seeing if anyone else has some problems with this survey:  As highlighted in Inside Higher Ed, a recent survey shows that out of 9.464 adults polled,  58% of those adults agreed that political bias on campus is a "somewhat serious" or "very serious" problem. [read post]
