One thing about Hoenig that I've always liked (as I do about Dallas Federal Reserve Bank president Richard Fisher) is that he's never appeared to be afraid to speak his mind, even when it must have annoyed many of his fellow bank presidents and, especially, the Chairman of the Fed. [read post]
