Only time will tell.Update: I am very surprised AND disappointed at this, but in researching past recessions, I discovered in fact that Paul, Weiss laid off 40 associates in the 1980's, which I still hold to be totally contrary to the firm's principles, and which we hope does not happen again:"Paul, Weiss had 333 lawyers in 1988, of which 82 were partners.
