 Alexander Economou was accused of rape by Eleanor De Freitas in 2013, no case was brought to court and he responded bringing a private prosecution against Eleanor for making false claims, which was taken over by the Crown Prosecution Service. 23 year old Eleanor, who suffered from bipolar disorder, committed suicide days before the trial was to begin.
