This post at K&;amp;L Gates Electronic Discovery Law Blog notes that the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws has approved its Uniform Rules Relating to the Discovery of Electronically Stored Information and recommended them for enactment in all the states.The NCCUSL notes that it borrowed heavily from the 2006 e-discovery amendments to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.
