As an update to our prior post, rent-stabilized landlords are one step closer to securing the first significant rent increase in years.On May 5, 2022, the Rent Guidelines Board (RGB), in a preliminary 5 to 4 vote, approved a proposal by its Chairperson, David Reiss, to increase stabilized rents by 2% to 4% for one-year leases, and 4% to 6% for two-year leases.
