DOE has requested congressional approval for authority to issue $9B in loan guarantees in FY2008.In conjunction with the publication of the program's new rules, DOE also invited 16 project sponsors, who submitted pre-applications last fall, to submit full applications for loan guarantees.Green Car Congress has a full list of the 16 invitees and the projects they have proposed.
