A few specific comments: asking if people have heard of generic.com suggests looking for secondary meaning; the interpretive question will be what to make of people who say, as 1/3 seem to have done with wm.com, “I’ve never heard of this particular generic.com but forced to choose between generic/brand/not sure, I’ll go with brand.
