The Occupy Boston land invasion having occurred within a quarter of a mile from my office, and now playing out in Boston court as the land owners seek to evict the squatters (as reported in this Boston Globe article), gives me an opportunity to explore an issue that is mainly farcical here in America but actually a life-and-death matter elsewhere in the world, such as in Cairo, Mumbai, Nairobi, and Sao Paulo.
