It seems to have worked: Dean claims that the gossips were silenced when they learned the size of the settlement.I'm not sure what Mrs Dean thinks of all this - she is refusing to comment - but as a matter of law, there is nothing to prevent publication of divorce settlements, unless the court orders otherwise.
