Last month, a conglomerate known as the West African Gas Pipeline completed a 621 mile pipeline through the Niger Delta region in Africa.[1]  The pipeline is owned by a consortium consisted of U.S. based Chevron Oil Corporation, as well as Royal Dutch Shell, along with a number of local energy companies.[2].
