  Old and Modern Harris County Courthouse  Once you (are forced  by the Texas Supreme Court to) accept the premise that the government is entitled to win in civil disputes with citizens because the government is the government -- a modern version of "The King Can Do No Wrong" -- and that it is the job of the courts to apply that principle and shut the courthouse door to victims of the government's agents it's easier to understand it all.
