Michigan holds 4-3, obviously incorrectly in my opinion, that an illegal seizure of cash being civilly forfeited is not subject to the exclusionary rule because One 1958 Plymouth Sedan v Pennsylvania, 380 U.S. 693 (1965), has been weakened sufficient to allow the exclusionary rule to be applied to determine "jurisdiction" to forfeit [what a cover!].
