Williams, some 30 people, allegedly members of the church, were notified of a meeting. 17 showed up and purported to elect Williams as pastor and as a trustee, and also purported to elect Barbara Williams-Mahmood as another trustee.Plaintiffs, who objected to Williams as pastor, sued challenging the validity of the 2006 meeting.
