Ranges’ dissertation was titled Animals Aiding Justice: The Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill and Ensuing Neurobehavioral Impacts as a Case Study for Using Animal Models in Toxic Tort Litigation – A Dissertation.[2] At first blush, Ranges would seem to be a credible interlocutor in the never-ending dispute over the role of whole animal toxicology (and in vitro toxicology) in determining human causation in tort litigation.
