(at [36]) My suggestion is that, just as the Holmes-Moorhouse paragraphs pop up in practically all local authority skeleton arguments, this paragraph is likely to be in most appellants. [read post]

 It appears to him that this decision finally rids us of University of New South Wales v Moorhouse [1975] HCA 26, one of the world's all-time worst copyright decisions in which it was held that, by making available a photocopy machine in its library for the use of students, a university was liable for authorising copyright infringement.
