Food Services LP was informed of the problem after FSIS routine testing on July 19 found that a sample of cooked diced bacon imported from another company, Canadian EST No. 169A, Aliments Prince, S.E.C., was positive for Listeria monocytogenes.The initial product related to that sample is on hold, but the Canadian Food Inspection Agency notified FSIS that  products from the same batch had been shipped to the United States.There are no reports of illnesses associated… [read post]
